Clinical Lab Technologist: Diagnostic Testing & QC
Job summary
A healthcare organization in Johor is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory tests for diagnosis. The ideal candidate must have a Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Sciences and over four to five years of laboratory experience. Responsibilities include processing bodily fluids, conducting tests, and maintaining equipment. Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. This position is key to ensuring high-quality patient care and laboratory performance.
Qualifications
- More than four to five years of working experience in a laboratory.
- Valid annual practicing certificate where applicable.
- Good command in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Receive various bodily fluids for lab analysis.
- Collect blood samples from patients.
- Perform calibration procedures and analyze Quality Control values.
- Perform various biochemical, haematology, microscopic and bacteriologic tests.
- Maintain department's records, reports, and files.
