Job summary

A food technology company in Penang is seeking a dedicated individual to coordinate new product development and support marketing efforts. The role involves documenting product legalities such as Halal and HACCP, preparing promotional materials, and assisting the Food Safety Team. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Food Science or related fields, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply as training will be provided. Independent work and basic design knowledge are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new product development between Sales, R&D and QA.
• Collect and document product legalities including Halal, HACCP/FSSC/ISO.
• Assist in preparing marketing materials like brochures and data sheets.
• Study and document product applications for different food industries.
• Follow up on packaging artwork and product labeling with designer.
• Update company website and create E-Marketing materials.
• Support customer requirements and assist Food Safety Team.

Job description

Coordinate new product development between Sales, R&D and QA.

Collect and document product legalities status (Halal, HACCP/FSSC/ISO, regulatory compliance info, certificates, HS codes, spec data)

Assist in preparing marketing materials (catalogue, brochure, flyer, product data sheets, presentation)

Study and document product applications for different food industries (B2B, HoReCa, B2C).

Follow up on packaging artwork & product labelling with designer.

Update company website & product information, and create E‑Marketing materials.

Support customer requirements and assist Food Safety Team in documentation.

Support product‑related tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Diploma/Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Nutrition or related field.

Fresh graduates encouraged to apply (training provided).

Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently.

Basic design software knowledge is an advantage.
