Tastiway Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Purchasing Executive to join their team. This full-time position is based in Alor Setar, Kedah, and will play a crucial role in the company's procurement and inventory management processes.

What you'll be doing
  • Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for materials, goods, and services required by the business
  • Placing purchase orders, managing order fulfilment, and ensuring timely delivery of all procured items
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Analysing purchasing data and making recommendations to improve procurement processes and maximise cost savings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align purchasing activities accordingly
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement
