Designer – Architectural / Interior
Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual and schematic designs that demonstrate refined aesthetic judgement and spatial.
- Prepare design development and construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, details, specifications, and finishes.
- Balance creative intent with technical feasibility, buildability, maintenance, cost, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in value engineering exercises, suggesting alternative materials, construction methods, and design solutions to optimize costs and buildability.
- Coordinate with consultants (structural, M&E, C&S), QS, contractors, and authorities at all stages.
- Refine details and material selection to ensure design integrity and cohesion.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor implementation, quality, and resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare presentation materials, 3D renderings, and visuals for clients, stakeholders, and marketing purposes.
- Maintain accurate project records, including as‑built drawings, RFIs, revisions, and meeting minutes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture / Interior Architecture or equivalent.
- 3+ years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior) experience in property development or architectural practice in Malaysia.
- Experience with high‑rise or mixed‑use developments is a plus, and knowledge of sustainability assessment tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- Portfolio demonstrating refined aesthetic judgement, technical competence, and value engineering understanding.
- Knowledge of Malaysian building regulations, codes, and statutory approvals.
- Strong visualisation, presentation, and coordination skills, with the ability to think creatively and commercially, apply effective problem‑solving, and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and adapting to changing requirements.
- High attention to detail and a practical mindset, focused on buildability, maintenance, value optimisation, and ensuring high‑quality project delivery.
Designer – Landscape
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative landscape concepts with strong visual composition, spatial coherence, and a clear connection to the project’s branding and identity.
- Prepare conceptual plans, planting plans, hardscape details, lighting coordination, and BOQs/schedules.
- Integrate aesthetics with site conditions, technical detailing, drainage, and maintenance requirements.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent, quality, and constructability are achieved.
- Produce presentation materials (3D renderings, mood boards, material boards) for clients, marketing, internal stakeholders, and authorities.
- Plan and manage submissions to local authorities’ landscape departments and other regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines including local council requirements, tree preservation/relocation protocols, accessibility, and safety in play areas.
- Lead design coordination with architects, civil & structural, M&E, infrastructure, drainage, façade, lighting, wayfinding, and sustainability consultants.
- Work closely with QS, procurement, and contractors on tender clarifications, value engineering, and shop drawing/material approvals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or equivalent.
- 3+ years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior) experience in landscape design for property developments or consultancy practice.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite; BIM and Lumion/Enscape a plus.
- Portfolio demonstrating refined aesthetic judgement, innovative thinking, and strong spatial composition.
- Ability to align landscape design with branding, marketing, and user experience objectives.
- Knowledge of Malaysian authority processes for landscape approvals and coordination with architectural submissions.
- Strong coordination, communication, and presentation skills; capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail with a practical mindset for buildability, maintenance, and sustainable solutions.
