What you'll be doing?

• Manage project finances: Oversee the submission of monthly progress claims and ensure accurate payment responses for sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project variations: Keep a close eye on variation orders and back-charges to maintain project financial health.
• Assist in Bill of Quantities preparation: Support the Contract Manager in the built-up costing of precast work by preparing detailed Bill of Quantities.
• Sourcing technical data: Source quotation for rates and technical data for materials and special items, adapting to each project's unique requirements.
• Ensure tender completion: Ensure timely completion of assigned tenders, contributing to the company's project success.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: At least bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or any related field to provide strong technical foundation.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Chinese, English and Bahasa Melayu for effective communication with diverse stakeholders and clients.
• QS Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as QS role in buildings/construction/manufacturing industry with proven track record in project cost management.
• Professional Competencies: Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, contract administration, and cost control.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCount is advantageous for efficient financial management.
