Job summary
A logistics company in Port Klang is seeking an Accounts Executive / Assistant Accountant to manage the financial and management accounting functions. Responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, participating in budgeting, and supporting tax filings. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy and 2-3 years of relevant experience. The ideal applicant will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive team-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
- Must be a team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of financial and management accounting.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain daily cash flow records.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist with tax filings and support during audits.
- Support additional tasks as required by the finance team.
Skills
Education
Handling the full spectrum of financial and management accounting, including providing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of the company’s performance
Monitor cash flow and maintain daily cash flow records
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
Assist with tax filings and provide support during audits
Support additional tasks and projects as required by the business or finance team
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
