Social Media Video Editor (Marketing + Editing)

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor (Marketing + Editing) to join our team. This role focuses mainly on video editing and content creation to support our branding and marketing campaigns within the automotive industry.

You will work closely with the marketing team to bring ideas to life through engaging visual storytelling for social media, digital ads, and internal use.

Key Responsibilities (Core)

Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal projects

Apply transitions, music, sound effects, text, and basic motion graphics to enhance video quality

Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives

Collaborate with the marketing team to understand content direction and project requirements

Deliver high-quality videos within agreed timelines

Additional / Nice-to-Have Skills

Basic video shooting and photography for marketing content

Simple copywriting or caption writing for social media posts

Experience creating posters, banners, or basic visual designs

Familiarity with current social media trends (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)

(These are a plus, not mandatory)

Requirements

Malaysian citizens with Minimum Diploma in Multimedia, Film, Design, Marketing, or related field

At least 2 years of experience in video editing (Advertising / Media / Creative industry preferred)

Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics

Able to work independently and collaborate within a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
