• To prepare a preventive and predictive maintenance planning for the area of responsibility.

• To forecast annual spending for servicing, preventive, corrective maintenance and machine improvement costing when necessary.
• To be responsible for detailed spending related to mechanical for breakdown maintenance, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• To conduct life cycle analysis to improve machine performance, reliability and useful lifespan.
• To propose and recommend best practices to upkeep technological equipment to its top performance and capability.
• To provide technical support and guidance for technicians to perform their work in the best possible approach.
• To prepare a comprehensive spare part list for machines in the area of responsibility and annual proposal of costing involved to keep machine performance at its best.
• To create a preventive and predictive maintenance task list in the SAP PM module.
• To work closely with procurement for deciding the best and reasonable pricing of spare parts.
• To prepare RFQ, CAPEX proposal, and R&M proposal when necessary.
• To provide excellent support for the team and other related departments to ensure productivity and equipment reliability continues production.
• To carry out any duties and responsibilities assigned by a superior.
• To lead and supervise the team of mechanical section with direct reporting engineers.
• To ensure the Root Cause Analysis is done for major breakdowns with clear direction of countermeasures and prevention of repetition.
• To ensure manpower utilization exceeds 90% captured through work orders in SAP PM.
• To assess contractor work and the quality of the work delivered.
• To maintain the ISO file, creating SOP and WI for the related areas of responsibilities.
• To ensure the team complies with all statutory requirements such as DOSH, DOE, etc.
• To comply with internal requirements such as 5S, AM, PM, ISO, etc.
• To strictly follow the preventive maintenance schedule with a good tracker and execution.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Working experience of 3 years and above.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Able to communicate in major languages to most level, Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge.
• Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering.
• Able to use SAP PM.
• Root Cause Analysis.
• FMECA: Assesses failures and their impact.
• P&ID: Shows piping and instrumentation details.
• Able to read machine drawings.
• Complies with ISO9001:2015 for quality management.
• Practices 5S culture for an organized and efficient workplace.
• Follows ISO37001 for Anti-Bribery Management System.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Self‑motivated and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Honest, willing to work after office hours when necessary.
• Well planning, coordinating, integrating, good interpersonal skills.
