Finance and Administration Executive (based in Malim, Melaka)
Responsibilities
- Carry out your duties in a professional manner at all times.
- Adopt a teamwork spirit by liaising effectively with the Company’s Staff.
- Monthly reconciliations on bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, debtor and creditors reconciliations.
- Managing incoming payments which include invoicing, data inputting, reporting on delinquent accounts, cash receipts, and deposits.
- Accurately processing accounts payable including data inputting, maintaining expenditure records, resolving queries, coordinating timely payments, and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Liaising with sales teams on invoicing and payments.
- Updating reporting templates regularly.
- Provide administrative support to the Owner and across different functions.
- Follow all operating procedures in a methodical and structured manner whilst providing exceptional attention to detail.
- Assist in other areas within the Company as and when requested by your superior.
- At all times keep your immediate superiors promptly and fully informed of your conduct of the business or affairs of the Company.
Qualifications
- Minimum certification of Diploma in Accountancy.
- Minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in a full set of accounts.
- Experience with different types of accounting software.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both verbal and written.
- You will need a good eye for detail, coupled with quality communication ability.
- You absolutely must be experienced in using Microsoft Excel and good skills with the rest of the MS Office suite will also be important.
- Strong work ethics. You must be discreet and have respect for the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive material.
- Able to manage administration including inquiries, sales, and records.
- Highly developed organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Organized, thorough, accurate, and eye for detail.
- The ability to solve problems independently.
