A manufacturing company is seeking a Procurement Assistant in Johor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying purchasing requirements, placing orders, and coordinating supplier deliveries. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a purchasing role and relevant educational qualifications like SPM or 'A' Levels. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the supply chain process while working in a dynamic team environment.
Identifying requirements for goods, materials and services.
Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and follow up suppliers’ delivery of materials to meet customer order requirement.
Comparison of price and payment terms.
Comparison of delivery terms.
Writing requests for bids and awarding supply contracts.
Filling and updating the purchase orders and purchases invoice.
Coordinating delivery with the warehouse against storage capacities.
To prepare & follow up the delivery schedule with supplier. TO check monthly usage & balance stock of packaging material & line material.
