Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Terengganu is looking for a Drafting Engineer to prepare and revise engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates should have a diploma in Drafting/Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in oil & gas drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. The role involves generating drawings, updating them based on site verification, and maintaining drawing registers. Strong attention to detail and document control knowledge are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in oil & gas process or engineering drafting.
• Familiar with oil & gas engineering drawings and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and revise engineering drawings including Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) drawings.
• Generate AutoCAD drawings in accordance with Client standards.
• Update drawings based on site verification and engineering inputs.
• Ensure drawings include proper legends and annotations.
• Maintain drawing registers and summary of changes.
• Support preparation of final drawing packages for project close-out.
