Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead the commercial strategy for a new greenfield project. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a proven track record of winning major projects, exceptional multinational capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder tender processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing strong new project sales credentials, developing new territories, and managing direct business relationships across technical, commercial, and legal domains.

  • Drive new project (greenfield) sales and contribute significantly to overall sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage deal teams throughout the full tender lifecycle, from early feasibility studies and design stages through engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and final tender execution.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and alignment across the sales process.
  • Build and maintain direct customer relationships, minimizing reliance on distributor channels and establishing strong executive-level credibility in target markets.
  • Identify, pursue, and manage tender opportunities within the assigned territory, ensuring strategic fit and commercial viability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage the technical, commercial, and legal aspects of complex sales opportunities.
  • Define and execute product positioning and sales strategies for the Oil & Gas and power sectors.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities in the Oil & Gas and power sectors.
  • Qualify tender opportunities based on strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and commercial value.
  • Contribute to market analysis, business development strategy, and long-term growth planning.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8+ years in sales, business development, or project management within the industrial or engineering sectors. A strong, demonstrable track record of winning complex, large-scale tenders is essential, as is proven experience in direct tender management.
  • A strong understanding of the O&G and power sector business models, sales targets, and market dynamics is required.
  • A solid understanding of tender processes and the various stages of large-scale project management, including feasibility studies, front-end engineering and design (FEED), and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) is also necessary.
