Job summary
A prominent property management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Leasing Executive to assist in planning leasing activities and managing tenant relations at a shopping mall. Responsibilities include negotiating leases, ensuring compliance with terms, and conducting market research. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in relevant fields and ideally have 1-2 years of experience in retail mall leasing, although fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years working experience in retail mall leasing.
- Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply.
- Good written and spoken English; multi-language ability is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing leasing activities.
- Identify suitable tenants and initiate discussions.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with lease terms.
- Conduct market research on trends.
- Manage tenancy-related matters like rentals and renewals.

Assist in planning and implementing leasing activities.
Identify suitable tenants and initiate discussion with potential tenants.
Negotiate the lease, finalize rental and other terms and conditions.
Ensure all the tenants follow the lease term.
Conduct market research to keep up with market trends.
Follow up through execution to the opening of store.
Resolve any tenants’ concerns and issues immediately.
Prepare, update and maintain all leasing documentation.
Ensure that tenants are consistent with the retail plan and the positioning of the shopping mall.
Monitor all new and existing tenancy document activities to keep them up-to-date and completed on time.
Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, management reports as well as documents with regards to lease transaction.
Liaise with Legal department on Tenancy Agreements.
Manage tenancy related matters such as rental, utilities collection and tenancy renewals.
Maintain a good rapport with new and existing tenants.
Diploma/Degree in Leasing/Marketing/Estate Management/Property Management/Retail/Business Administration or related disciplines.
Minimum 1-2 years working experience in retail mall leasing.
Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply.
Well known in Microsoft office excel, word & power point.
Able to work under tight deadlines, resourceful and disciplined.
Candidate shall be proactive, positively motivated, a good team player, have strong problem-solving skills and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good written and spoken in English. Able to communicate in multi-languages will be an added advantage.
