Job Description:

SENIOR CONVEYANCING LAWYER (PROJECT)
1. Independently draft Sale and Purchase Agreements and manage files until VP/Legal Possession handover.
2. Proficient in banking documentation.
3. Liaise with clients, banks, and government authorities (Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, etc.).
4. Provide legal opinions and advice on sale and purchase transactions and loan drawdowns.
5. Draft correspondences, legal documents, and instruments for developers, banks, and third parties.
6. Address legal matters related to residential and commercial projects.
7. Conduct and attend SPA and loan documentation signings.
8. Perform comprehensive legal research.

CONVEYANCING CLERK
1. Able to work independently on loan and SPA documentation.
2. Possess at least 3-4 years of experience in handling conveyancing files.
3. Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities, such as the Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, etc.
4. Experienced in managing conveyancing matters related to retail, project, or commercial loan and SPA documentation with minimal supervision.
5. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must.

PUPILLAGE
1. Assist the Master and lawyers with corporate and conveyancing matters.
2. Support partners and legal associates in various areas of practice.
3. Conduct research on points of law and draft legal documents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

SENIOR CONVEYANCING LAWYER (PROJECT)
1. Possesses an LLB degree.
2. Experienced in handling SPA and loan files for sub-sale/project transactions.
3. Dedicated, responsible, and committed to the role.
4. Proficient in both written and spoken Malay and English.
5. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
6. Capable of meeting deadlines effectively.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; must have own transport.
9. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage for interacting with Mandarin-speaking clients.
10. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conveyancing.

CONVEYANCING CLERK
1. At least 3 years of experience in handling conveyancing sub-sale/project files.
2. Familiar with loan documentation for panel banks such as CIMB, PBB, UOB, RHB, and OCBC.
3. Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin is an advantage).
4. Able to complete tasks within given timelines with minimal supervision.

PUPILLAGE
1. Qualified under the Legal Profession Act to commence pupillage.
2. Multi-tasker with a commitment to learning.
3. Strong work ethic and a positive working attitude.
4. Skilled in legal research and drafting simple writs.
