Job summary
A reputable law firm in Penang is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to manage property transactions and legal matters. The role involves handling sub-sale and developer transactions, drafting agreements, and liaising with various stakeholders. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law and at least 3 years of conveyancing experience. - Minimum 3 years of experience in conveyancing work, including sub-sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of sub-sale and developer property transactions including SPA, MOT, and perfection of transfer and charge.
- Draft and review loan documentation for various banks and financial institutions.
- Draft a variety of commercial agreements to support clients’ business needs.
- Handle tenancy agreements, trust documentation, and related legal matters.
- Liaise with clients, bankers, agents, developers, and government authorities.
- Manage conveyancing files independently with minimal supervision.
- Attend to signing of documents and witnessing client signatures.
