Job summary
A leading financial institution in Klang City seeks a candidate to conduct customer profitability analysis, maintain relationships with key clients, and develop new business opportunities. The role involves extensive collaboration with various departments and requires strong analytical skills, risk assessment abilities, and experience in banking operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct customer profitability analysis and formulate account strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on inquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Develop new business opportunities through various channels.
- Perform comprehensive financial and risk analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive portfolio growth.
- Conduct portfolio health checks and annual credit reviews.
- Proactively monitor asset quality and initiate recovery measures.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Ensure accountability for documentation integrity.
- Conduct customer profitability analysis and formulate account strategies in collaboration with product specialists for both existing and prospective clients. Implement account plans, including cross‑selling initiatives or exit strategies where appropriate.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on all inquiries related to credit, deposits, and other banking products and services, including operational matters.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision‑makers such as CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Treasury, and Heads of HR.
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential prospects, engaging through various communication channels and visits, and ensuring compliance with Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) requirements and due diligence during onboarding.
- Perform comprehensive financial and risk analysis to support sound decision‑making. Prepare and submit well‑structured credit proposals for approval in accordance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and applicable rules.
- Collaborate with other product lines and departments to drive portfolio growth, leverage cross‑selling opportunities, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Conduct periodic portfolio health checks, including annual credit reviews, verification of legal and security documentation, insurance renewals, and accurate system updates post‑disbursement or upon changes.
- Proactively monitor asset quality, identify early warning signals, and initiate appropriate actions such as restructuring, rescheduling, or legal recovery measures.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Bank management from time to time.
- Ensure proper maintenance of credit files and uphold accountability for documentation integrity.
