Technical Assistant

Role Overview:

Otis is growing and is looking for a Technical Assistant for one of our entities located in Melaka. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day you will:

1. Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
2. Work within your defined geographical area/territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
3. Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first-time fix.
4. Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
5. Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.

What you will need to be successful:

1. Hold a driver's license.
2. You have at least 12 months of experience in the elevator sector.
3. You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
4. You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
5. You are comfortable communicating to others.
6. You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
7. You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
