About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Company Secretary Assistant to join our dynamic team at ID EMANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Lead a portfolio of clients and assist in all aspects of company secretarial work, duties and ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016, other relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Update and maintain all statutory records and books including but not limited to compliance with Companies Act, 2016, other law and requirement.
- Responsible for the preparation of documents such as resolutions, annual return, minutes of meetings and other corporate secretarial documents.
- Assist in coordinating and arranging submission of documents to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) including MyCOID submission.
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the superior.
What we're looking for
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment. Fresh graduates who are interested are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements would be an advantage.
