A leading F&B company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to conduct QA audits across outlets, assess food safety and operational compliance. Responsibilities include providing training, implementing corrective actions, and investigating product complaints. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and a degree in Food Technology or related fields. Fluency in English and Malay is required, along with knowledge of HACCP standards.
Conduct regular QA audits across Tealive outlets in West Malaysia to assess food safety, hygiene, quality and operational compliance.
Deliver clear feedback and improvement recommendations to outlet teams and collaborate with Operations to implement corrective actions.
Perform quality inspections and testing for incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with HACCP standards and internal specifications.
Support operations and quality teams in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality performance.
Investigate product complaints and food quality issues, ensuring proper root cause analysis, documentation, and timely closure.
Maintain and update complaint, non-conformance, and inspection procedures, including corrective and preventive action records.
Provide training and guidance to other departments on systems, policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Monitor risk management activities and analyze recurring issues for escalation to management and product development.
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics, or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Must be open to travelling for work.
Experienced in F&B is an added advantage.
Fluent in English and Malay (spoken & written).
Knowledge of HACCP, quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice.
