Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to provide engineering support for PCBA manufacturing. Responsibilities include leading lean manufacturing improvements and resolving equipment issues. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The position offers a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are accepted; working experience in SMT Chip placement equipment or PCB assembly manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Well versed with statistical tools, IOT, Industry 4.0.
Responsibilities
- Provide PCBA manufacturing equipment engineering support.
- Lead project improvement on Lean manufacturing/OEE/Operation efficiency.
- Setup Work Instruction, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Preventive Maintenance and Training related to SMT equipment operation.
- Work with external suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to equipment and manufacturing process.
- Continuous equipment and manufacturing operation process improvement.
- Provide technical support to value stream team to achieve business and quality indices.
