Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic data & analytics team. This role will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytical solutions using tools such as Azure Databricks and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data engineering principles, cloud platforms, and visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and other Azure data services.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Integrate data from various sources (structured & unstructured) into a unified data lake or warehouse.
• Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable business insights.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of data solutions.
• Participate in data architecture design and contribute to strategic data initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in Power BI – including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration, ETL/ELT frameworks, and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices in data projects.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of Python or Scala for data transformation tasks.
• Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance in a corporate environment.
