Job description

General:
• Work with the business SME and PM to understand business needs and project objectives.
• Provide recommendations for data improvement, quality, and efficiency of data analytics project.
• Handle error logs and support the data architecture utilized by data scientists and analysts.
• Produce the technical documentation after project is completed.
• Attend project update meeting and provide regular update to SME, PM, other team members and business.

Main Role:
• Identify required data from SME, collect/acquire required data from identified sources to data lake platform.
• Prepare and transform data for data analytics modeling, ie. predictive, prescription modeling depending on business requirement and data availability.
• Build API interfaces, visualization reports and related reporting tools.
• Implement and manage company’s data analytics roadmap – ETL, services management, datalake data management, data catalog management, data visualization reporting management, etc.

Candidate Criteria:
• Min 12 years in Data Analytics experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Sc. or Information Technology (other equivalent qualification could be considered if experience fit).
• Have oil & gas experience.
• Location based in KL, Malaysia.
• Result-oriented individual, with the ability to design, develop extensible technical solutions, and solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to improve or optimize data management, automation and integration, value stream processes.
• Ability to solve modern day real-world data problems using advanced data automation, analytics and applied Data Science.
• Motivated fast learner with good interpersonal skills.
