The company has three manufacturing sites and R&D offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools, and steering systems. A new plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors has been established.

The PgP5 Plant in Batu Kawan, Penang, is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia. Construction began in May 2021, and production started in 2023. This facility focuses on the final testing of semiconductors and sensors, primarily those manufactured at Bosch’s Dresden fab. It also includes R&D and training facilities.

Job Description

• Collaborate with technical experts and design documents to develop solutions for Supply Chain Planning MasterData.
• Support key users and departments with documentation, innovative solutions, and training.
• Manage MasterData to ensure proper data for planning tools like BlueYonder, escalating issues when necessary.
• Represent Bosch Semiconductor planner interests within the Blue Yonder user community.
• Ensure proper operation of the MasterData tool with the BD-Operations team.
• Evaluate and resolve data load and operational data issues.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders on solutions and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL, MSSQL, KNIME, or similar environments.
• Basic knowledge of MassData synchronization, load procedures, and interfaces (AbInitio, WebServices, API).
• Experience with low-code development tools (e.g., Tivity).
• Understanding of job scheduling, batch processing, and scripting (batch, Python, etc.) is a plus.
• Awareness of security architecture elements such as firewalls, VMs, JumpHosts.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning & Optimization Suite (Blue Yonder) and/or SAP R/3 / S/4 Hana is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Team player capable of working in a multicultural, virtual environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
