A leading sports retailer is seeking an experienced E-commerce Traffic Lead in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves developing strategies to drive traffic to e-commerce platforms with a strong emphasis on SEO and paid advertising. Key responsibilities include managing digital marketing initiatives and analyzing performance data to improve campaigns. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in traffic acquisition. Qualifications

- Expertise in traffic acquisition and growth strategy across digital channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive traffic acquisition strategy.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for SEO.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns.
Skills
The E-commerce Traffic Lead is responsible for both the strategic planning and day-to-day execution of initiatives to drive high-quality traffic to our e-commerce platforms. This role requires at least 3 years of hands‑on experience in SEO, paid search, paid social and marketplace advertising (Lazada, Shopee, etc.) across web and app environments.
Traffic Acquisition & Growth Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive traffic acquisition strategy across multiple digital channels, including SEO, PPC, paid social, marketplace ads.
Optimize media buying strategies to ensure efficient spending and maximize customer acquisition and retention.
Own strategic planning cycles (monthly, quarterly) while also managing campaign execution and tracking
Stay updated on emerging trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and enhance user experience to drive organic traffic.
Monitor and improve site rankings, domain authority, and overall SEO performance
Paid Media Management
Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Manage ad budgets efficiently and track campaign performance against KPIs.
Marketplace Advertising (Lazada/Shopee Sponsored Ads)
Optimize and manage paid advertising strategies on e-commerce marketplaces like Lazada and Shopee.
Analyze marketplace trends, competition, and performance data to improve ad efficiency.
Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to align ad strategy with commercial campaigns.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track and analyze website and campaign performance
Provide weekly and monthly reports with insights for continuous improvement.
Monitor customer acquisition costs (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rates, and other key metrics.
Create & monitor performance marketing dashboards & reports for visibility
Provide data-driven insights on a monthly basis to optimise performance across different channels
