JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Participate in IT Asset Management (ITAM) projects and support IT Helpdesk, Service Management (ITSM), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) under the Corporate Solutions section, Digital Enterprise Solutions department.
2. Determine ITAM, ITSM, and ALM application requirements by:
1. Analyzing current and future needs, and current practices of business users and stakeholders to identify solutions.
2. Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
3. Eliciting, documenting, and analyzing business requirements, processes, and workflows.
4. Translating business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
5. Providing impact analysis and advisory services.
6. Creating detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), use cases, and user stories.
7. Plan, schedule, and document new application development and enhancements to existing applications.
8. Organize and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions with users.
9. Identify opportunities for application development improvements and create action plans.
10. Provide first-level application support to ensure system availability.
11. Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues reported by users to determine root cause and resolution.
12. Collaborate with business owners, digital technology teams (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Application), and vendors in project delivery and BAU operations.
13. Examine and implement best practices in application development and system maintenance.
14. Implement processes, development standards, and system improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
15. Work with the Strategy Planning & Enterprise Architecture team to define and implement application architecture.
16. Conduct periodic project assessments/reviews to ensure adherence to the governance framework, security controls, and architectural standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Malaysian citizen.
2. Pass Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
3. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field recognized by the Government.
4. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in application development and support roles, managing IT Asset Management Systems (ITAMS), Helpdesk, Service Management (ITSM), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
5. Certified in ITIL with experience in implementing the ITIL framework to establish best practices in ITSM is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

1. Proficient in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) modules and functionalities.
2. Well-versed in project management methodologies and business analysis techniques.
3. Experienced in designing and developing process flows, user journeys, and wireframes.
4. Skilled in integrating applications with enterprise backend systems, databases (Microsoft SQL Server & Oracle), Business Process Management (BPM), or via Application Programming Interface (API) (Representational State Transfer (REST)).
5. Familiar with and experienced in Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, Development Operations (DevOps), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
6. Expertise in the business area with strong ITIL, ITAM, ITSM, and ALM skills to effectively interpret user requirements and issues.
7. Strong knowledge of ITIL, ITAM, ITSM, and ALM modules and functionalities such as Incident Management, Change Management, Knowledge Base, Asset Management, and Lifecycle Management.
8. Familiar with ITIL, ITAM, ITSM, and ALM processes, routing, and approval flow.
9. Knowledgeable in integration approaches and methodologies with external systems such as JIRA, Identity Management (IDM), etc.

4. Excellent interpersonal abilities and the ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
5. Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision.
6. Proactively available for tasks beyond regular hours when needed.
