A leading manufacturing firm in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Executive for Secretarial and General Administration. The role involves supporting the Managing Director, managing board meetings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining corporate records. Candidates should have 4–5 years of experience in a related role, be proficient in English and Malay, and be well-organized with effective communication skills. Knowledge of Japanese is an advantage. This role requires handling sensitive information with discretion.
This role will be reporting to the Managing Director and responsible for daily function of supporting various aspects of secretarial, administrative, corporate governance and regulatory compliance functions. It also involves assisting senior team members and contributing to the efficient management of board meetings, regulatory & shareholder communication, and authorities & legal documentations.
Requirement:
At least 4-5 years working experience in a similar or related role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in English & Malay language, written & spoken.
Able to speak and write Japanese is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong qualities and able to communicate with all levels.
