Job summary

A leading financial services provider based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced professional for corporate finance responsibilities. Job description

Responsibilities

Drive corporate exercises and funding initiatives, including IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, fundraising via the capital market, and structured financing.

Develop financial models for forecasting and project evaluation, including feasibility studies and valuation modelling.

Analyse and present data on strategy execution to support decision-making by Senior Management and the Board.

Participate in financial analysis and the development of potential new investments, ventures, and business partnerships.

Provide Senior Management with concise reports and insightful analysis.

Evaluate business proposals and investment opportunities.

Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking.

Qualifications & Expertise

A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, and a Professional Qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CFA).

Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in Corporate Planning, Corporate Finance, and/or Investor Relations.

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proven proficiency in building complex models for forecasting, valuation, and budgeting.

In-depth knowledge of capital markets and corporate finance, with expertise in funding, capital structuring, and investment strategies.

Solid understanding of the regulatory requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and the Securities Commission.

Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
