You will be responsible for the implementation, and management of cloud solutions and Virtual Machines with a particular focus on VMware and Alibaba Cloud. You will work closely with senior leadership, development, operations, and security teams to ensure our cloud and virtual environments are robust, scalable, and secure.

• Lead the strategic planning, design, and implementation of virtualized environments using VMware technologies.
• Drive the adoption and integration of Alibaba Cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align cloud infrastructure strategies with business goals and objectives.
• Provide executive oversight on cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance.
• Develop and implement automation strategies for cloud infrastructure management.
• Conduct high-level security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard cloud environments.
• Responsible for effective operations and administration of virtual and cloud servers.
• Handle issues and perform day-to-day support independently.
• Be part of a team that leads system implementation for production, testing and development, and disaster recovery.
• Pro-active monitoring and capacity planning of the server environment. Required to advise and lead complex system discussions and resolve technical issues.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent; or
• Diploma/Professional Certificate with minimum of 2 years of working experience in VMware and Windows System Administration.
• Experience in various operating systems, security, LAN technology, communication protocol and mediums, internet technology and configuration is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in diagnostic and troubleshoot skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, team player, highly motivated, well organized, and result oriented.
• Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Alibaba Cloud, Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Database, and VMware administration are additional advantages.
• Able to work out of office hours where necessary and be on standby 24/7.
