Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Teleflex Surgical Account Manager to cover the South Coast area.

From our MiniLap Percutaneous Surgical System to Weck Hem-o-lok Polymer Locking Ligation System, and Weck EFx Shield Fascial Closure System , our portfolio of products adds up to a powerful offering of solutions that helps improve patient outcomes. These innovative minimally invasive surgery products are offered alongside time-tested and trusted Pilling Surgical Instrument solutions to provide a comprehensive set of solutions to meet the challenges of an evolving healthcare environment.

Principal Responsibilities

As a Teleflex Account Manager, you will be responsible for the promotional activity on your territory. This includes the full sales process and any local marketing and customer engagement activity.

Your key customers will be Theatre based staff including but not exclusively Surgeons, Theatre Nursing staff and Procurement professionals. You will be in a challenging and stimulating role, often working within the clinical environment, alongside the surgeon to advise on the appropriate use of the product during the surgical procedure and collecting feedback on the product portfolio.
Other activities will include managing contracts, negotiating with procurement and attending marketing and internal training events both in the UK and occasionally overseas.

Education / Experience Requirements

This role would suit an individual who is keen to enter into a career selling medical devices into Theatres, or someone who has worked in the Theatre environment within the NHS and is looking to break into surgical sales.
Whilst full training is given on the products, this role would suit an individual who thrives from autonomy, is self-starting, eager to learn new skills and happy to work outside of their comfort zone.
