A prominent hospitality organization in Birmingham seeks a Director of Sales to lead their sales team and enhance revenue growth across Aloft Birmingham and The Eastside Rooms. The successful candidate will require a proven track record in hotel and conference sales, excellent negotiation abilities, and strong leadership skills. As Director of Sales, you’ll lead our proactive sales team to drive revenue across Aloft Birmingham and The Eastside Rooms. Your day will blend strategy and action - coaching your team, meeting key clients, uncovering new business, and focusing on initiatives that grow market share locally, regionally, and nationally. You’ll build strong relationships within Birmingham and beyond, keeping our hotel and event spaces top of mind for corporate, group, and MICE customers.
You’ll bring a proven track record in hotel and/or conference sales, with experience driving revenue across corporate, group, and MICE markets. Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships at every level are essential. You’ll be an inspiring leader who can coach a proactive sales team, analyse data to spot opportunities, and confidently deliver strategies that grow market share locally, regionally, and nationally.
