The purpose of the role is to ensure compliance across a broad spectrum of regulatory requirements and to identify risk exposures at a process level.
Are you someone who can:
- Contribute to the development of the overall area budget.
- Develop the budget for the next financial year, considering operational plans.
- Research and design a long-term financial resource plan for the area.
- Present business cases to justify financial resources.
- Analyze and develop implementation plans aligned with the financial forecast.
- Create a tactical budget that minimizes expenditure and manages costs.
- Control the budget, authorize expenditures, and enforce financial regulations.
- Build relationships to manage expectations, share knowledge, and create buy-in.
- Engage in cross-functional relationships for support and collaboration.
- Participate in external networking, benchmarking, and industry forums to maintain a competitive edge.
- Apply a customer-centric approach to maximize service and build relationships.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics policies to manage risks.
- Stay updated on industry risk management practices and legislative changes, and suggest improvements.
- Create risk awareness and manage audit findings.
- Participate in Group risk forums and cascade relevant information.
- Drive innovative best practices to improve efficiencies.
- Create and participate in communities of practice and represent the organization externally.
- Lead strategic projects, change management, and platform integration.
- Leverage Group capabilities to exploit opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures.
- Translate business strategy into operational practices and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Identify interconnected problems, assess impacts, and develop best-fit solutions.
- Be responsive to local conditions and influence organizational structures and capacity.
- Identify personal development needs and implement growth plans.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have the following:
- 2-3 years' work experience in Investment Banking
- An investment-related degree
