Do you enjoy combining technical expertise with customer engagement? We’re looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to work remotely while covering the Ladysmith, Newcastle, and Pietermaritzburg regions. In this role, you’ll provide hands‑on technical support and training to installers, promote our full product range, and act as the bridge between the field and our national technical and sales teams. Your contribution will directly strengthen installer relationships, improve product adoption, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive installer engagement by promoting the product range and encouraging upselling opportunities.
  • Provide advanced technical support through site visits, diagnostics, and field‑based problem solving.
  • Deliver installer training sessions and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, feedback, and activities using CRM tools.
  • Share valuable insights on market trends and competitor activity.
What You’ll Need
  • Matric (Senior Certificate) – Technical Diploma or N4 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales or field support, ideally in access automation or electronic security.
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability and strong communication skills.
  • A proactive, self‑driven approach with good territory management.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential – petrol will be compensated.
