Job summary

A leading energy solutions company is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position requires 8–10 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the solar or energy industries. The candidate will provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage various market strategies. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, alongside exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. This role is vital in supporting the company's mission to drive the energy transition with innovative solar solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy disciplines).
  • Proven ability in technical sales or presales, with experience aiding multi-functional teams through complex deal processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD, tender/engineering specs, cost estimations, and documentation workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, from client engagement to post-sales support—ensuring smooth transitions and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—Sales, Product Development, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality—to design and deliver customized solar tracker solutions
  • Translate complex technical details into clear, compelling presentations, both verbal and written.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, proposals, brochures, and scopes of work
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform sales strategies.
  • Assist with technical evaluations during negotiations and support pricing strategies.
  • Support customers post-sale, offering technical guidance and ensuring satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy disciplines).
  • Strong grounding in solar tracker systems and utility-scale PV plant components.
  • Proven ability in technical sales or presales, with experience aiding multi-functional teams through complex deal processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills—ability to simplify and convey technical concepts effectively
  • Highly organized with detail-oriented execution and experience managing multiple simultaneous projects under pressure.
  • Familiarity with CAD, tender/engineering specs, cost estimations, and documentation workflows.
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving mindset; adept in consultative selling methods.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience working with utility-scale solar projects or within the Middle East energy sector.
  • Exposure to regional procurement, construction, and project engineering contexts—especially within Saudi Arabia
