About the location :
Located in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s vibrant capital, the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh is an architectural icon soaring over the city in the Kingdom Tower. The redesigned interiors showcase authentic Saudi heritage and craftsmanship, while our distinguished team provides personalized, thoughtful service and hospitality.
Main Duties & Responsibilities :
- Adhere to all Rules & Regulations in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
- Maintain good rapport and working relationships with staff across all departments.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, departmental, and hotel training sessions.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Assistant Director of Engineering / Assistant Engineering Manager.
- Respond to changes in the Engineering department as required by the hotel.
- Handle guest and employee inquiries courteously and efficiently, report complaints, and follow up with guests.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Perform additional duties as instructed by management in line with internal rules and local labor laws.
- Be cross-trained in other hotel areas as needed.
- Follow the 10/5 Rule during work hours.
- Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
- Perform daily repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including checking gas lines, detection panels, fire suppression systems, and gas valves.
- Attend daily briefings and execute maintenance orders, recording time and materials used.
- Handle mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing maintenance for the kitchen.
- Report defects immediately and assist in other engineering duties as required.
- Keep tools ready and order urgent spare parts as needed.
- Manage electrical outlets maintenance and execute planned preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain logs of work carried out and materials used.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed, including using appropriate safety gear.
- Assist in emergency situations and other engineering tasks as required.
- Maintain a tidy and organized working area.
- Undergo necessary training and certifications.
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain internal electrical and control systems, clean heaters, and check burners.
- Install and assemble ductwork, maintain fire sprinkler systems, and respond to guest maintenance requests promptly.
