Expression of Interest - IPMT - Mining and Minerals (BFS)
Job summary
A global engineering consultancy is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced professionals for various roles in a large-scale mining development project in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The project focuses on delivering a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) and requires significant experience in major projects, particularly in mining and minerals. Various positions are available, including project management and engineering roles, each demanding specific qualifications and a background in the Middle East. Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of experience for managers.
- Minimum 10 years of experience for engineers.
- Mega project experience is mandatory for key roles.
- Mining and minerals experience is required for discipline-specific roles.
- Prior Middle East experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Delivery support for a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS).
- Engineering coordination for ISBL & OSBL facilities.
- Inputs to project controls and scheduling.
- Support ESIA, HSE, QA/QC compliance activities.
- Interface with stakeholders and consultants.

- Interface with stakeholders, consultants, and lenders
- Ensure alignment with international standards and project governance frameworks

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
- Experience:
- Managers: Minimum 20 years
- Engineers: Minimum 10 years
- Major / Mega Project experience is mandatory for key project, controls, and leadership roles
- Mining & minerals experience (phosphate preferred) is required for discipline‑specific and SME roles
- PMC, Owner’s Engineer, or IPMT background preferred
- Prior Middle East / KSA experience is an advantage
