A global supply chain organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee inventory management and optimize logistics operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics principles. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in logistics, including a minimum of 5 years in relevant roles, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or logistics. Experience in the GCC region is a plus.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off‑spec material, and reducing aging material. This position manages and controls the organization resource distribution and allocation directed by the Operations Manager for all projects company‑wide. Responsible for all logistic requirements related to the warehouse function, inclusive of transportation, supply delivery, and related activities. Manages the supply and delivery of procured items to the assigned project location, including coordination with all shipping and freight forwarding agencies and customs authorities.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain/Logistics related course.
