We are seeking an Associate Marketing Operations Strategist to play a pivotal role in guiding Toptal’s marketing projects toward success. Working alongside the Marketing Operations team, you will collaborate with senior leaders in Marketing Strategy, Growth Product, Revenue, Creative, and Events to ensure marketing operations are directly aligned with business needs.
Your work will involve coordinating projects across product, brand, content, events, and creative operations, balancing analytical acumen with strong project management abilities. This position blends a comprehensive approach to both strategy and hands-on project management, requiring strong analytical skills, operational rigor, and a working knowledge of marketing principles. This dual role combines data and reporting (analysis, campaign reporting, library accuracy, workflow tracking) with operations enablement (project management, intake processes, creative requests, and campaign automation).

SVP of Marketing Strategy
As Toptal’s SVP of Marketing Strategy, Luiz is accountable for driving the strategy and implementation across all Marketing channels and initiatives. He’s responsible for ensuring that all Marketing deliverables are aligned with our growth strategy and are at the highest quality level to align with Toptal’s level of excellence. Before Toptal, Luiz built and led corporate strategy and partnership teams in various industries, from Private Equity, Management Consulting, Tech, and Healthcare. He had been designing strategy, driving growth, and managing partnerships in organizations like Booz & Company, Accenture, DaVita, Sling TV, and Burger King. Luiz has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

VP of Marketing Operations
As Toptal\'s VP of Marketing Operations, Steve works alongside all marketing teams to optimize their internal operating structure, strategize and prioritize workloads, and maximize the business outcomes efficiently. Steve leverages his comprehensive experience in continuous improvement, new product development, and data and financial analysis. Before working as VP of Marketing Operations, Steve held several roles throughout several Toptal areas. Additionally, he has worked as a Startup COO, financial lead for a business unit of a major US healthcare provider, and accountant contracted to various government agencies.
Keith Berlin
VP of Events
As Toptal’s VP of Events, Keith builds curated, high-end thought leadership events based on the Future of Work and the Talent Economy for Toptal clients, network talent, and core team members. Keith brings over a decade of experience creating enterprise executive gatherings, most recently with Evanta, a Gartner company. While there, Keith launched and grew the first commercially viable CMO Executive Summit as well as numerous private executive event series, specializing in executive community building, audience development, and sponsorship program development. Keith majored in English Literature at Penn State University and Montana State University. He volunteers with The Classic Wines Auction, Write Around Portland, and Columbia Riverkeeper.
