Job summary
A leading aluminium die casting manufacturer in Malaysia is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team. The role involves reviewing technical drawings, developing quality control plans, and collaborating across teams to ensure production quality. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience in quality control. Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quality control or quality engineering in the aluminium die casting or metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of casting defects and quality inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and PPAP / APQP documentation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review technical drawings and provide feedback to customers during project initiation.
- Coordinate with toolmakers to ensure die design meets requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control plans for die-cast components.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth transition from development to mass production.
