We are pleased to announce that we are hiring a QAQC Engineer cum Assistant Manager to strengthen our QAQC team and support ongoing projects. We are looking for a capable and responsible candidate who can contribute effectively to our quality assurance and control functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of switchgear and distribution panels, including visual and physical checks.
- Support and perform project testing, routine factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) activities with clients and quality-related troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and relevant quality standards.
- Verify component and breaker arrangements, ratings, wiring details (per drawings), and nameplate arrangements.
- Perform electrical tests such as continuity tests, insulation resistance (IR) tests, High Potential (Hi-Pot) tests, torque checks, and circuit breaker contact resistance tests.
- Ensure all testing and measurement equipment used is properly calibrated and has valid certificates.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams on quality matters.
- Assist management in improving QAQC procedures and workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QAQC engineering or related field.
- Familiar with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Malay. "We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
- Willing to travel when required.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Candidates with supervisory or assistant manager experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is typically required.
- Experience: Relevant experience (typically 3-10+ years) in quality assurance and control within the electrical industry, specifically with switchgear, control panels, and distribution equipment, is necessary.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Profound knowledge of electrical systems, components (breakers, relays, transformers, etc.), and wiring.
- Familiarity with national and international standards (e.g., IEC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Experience with testing and commissioning procedures for electrical equipment.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues proactively.
