Job summary

A technology solutions provider located in Malaysia is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage network devices. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a relevant field, at least 2 years of experience, and hold CCNA or CCNP certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing network issues, providing levels 2/3 support, and ensuring excellent communication with customers while maintaining professionalism. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a related field with knowledge of network systems.
• Hands-on experience with network devices is essential.
• Possess CCNA / CCNP certification would be advantageous.

Job description

Design, implement, install, deploy and configure network devices

Diagnose network performance problems

Provide Level 2/ 3 support network issues

Troubleshoot and configure network infrastructure which includes routing, switching, LAN/ WAN, firewall, IPS, VPN, IPVPN, etc

Reporting network status to customers

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain professional demeanor

Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

Keep record of problems and customers solution

Follow-up with customers

Reporting base on projects

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Application/ System/ Computer Science/ ICT Engineering/ Networking or equivalent

At least TWO (2) year working experience in related field. Possess a knowledge and experience in technical and operational equipment, software, network equipment and applications in Hospital Information System (HIS) will be an added advantage

Hands on experience in network devices

Possess CCNA / CCNP would be an added advantage

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong presentation and customer-facing skills

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain professional demeanor

Able to work independently with minimize supervision

Able to multi-task and deliver within timeline

Possess own transport (motorcycle/ car) as well as must be willing to travel
