A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to analyze and improve manufacturing processes. You will conduct time studies, design production layouts, and utilize statistical analysis for optimization. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields and at least 5 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects and drive efficiency in production.

- Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize work methods and reduce waste.
- Design and layout production facilities to maximize space utilization and workflow.
- Utilize statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to identify areas for process improvement.
- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets.
- Conduct ergonomic evaluations to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment.
- Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity.
- Evaluate employees’ tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify areas for improvement and track the effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple groups including production, engineering, quality and supply chain to identify and resolve issues.
- Summarize complex problems, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions.
- Manage projects, budgets, and resources.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning and quality control
- Knowledge of IE tools like time study, process balancing, Capacity and Headcount modeling
- Lean Manufacturing and Lean tools
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
