WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING HERE
The Operations Executive supports the day-to-day management of all Potato Corner outlets across Malaysia. This role ensures operational standards, product quality, customer experience, and store performance meet the expectations of Potato Corner Thailand HQ and Malaysia’s growth strategy. The Operations Executive works closely with outlet teams to provide guidance, audit, training support, and operational problem-solving. This role may require light support on the weekend but can be mobile support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine outlet visits (scheduled + surprise checks) to ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene, safety, and product quality.
- Assist supervisors in managing daily operational needs—inventory, sales monitoring, store readiness, and service flow.
- Support new store openings, setup, and pre-launch readiness.
- Monitor sales performance and identify operational issues affecting revenue (slow service, queue management, wastage, manpower gaps, etc.).
- Monitor targeted achievements KPIs for service, quality, and cleanliness (SQC).
- Perform spot checks on stock levels, FIFO practices, product handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist outlets in forecasting stock requirements based on sales trends and promotional activity.
- Assist in monitoring wastage reports and identify areas for improvement (prep accuracy, portion control, handling errors).
- Assist in supporting implementation of cost-control initiatives across outlets.
- Prepare weekly outlet operation reports, audit summaries, and action steps.
- Flag operational challenges early and recommend solutions (manpower issues, equipment breakdown, layout inefficiencies).
- Coordinate with internal teams (HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to resolve outlet issues efficiently.
- Track competitor activities and provide insights to improve brand competitiveness.
- Assist Operations Manager in executing new operational initiatives, seasonal products, cost‑saving programs, and customer‑experience improvements.
- Participate in new outlet setup, recruitment support, and opening‑day execution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in operational roles OR Fresh graduates are welcomed, with Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

- Strong communication skills in BM and English.
