A healthcare provider in Selangor is seeking an experienced procurement manager to develop procurement policies, lead tender exercises, and negotiate with vendors. The role requires 8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the healthcare industry, along with strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP systems like NAV and Microsoft Office is essential. The successful candidate will also oversee purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
Lead tender exercises to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
Negotiate prices, contracts, delivery terms, and payment arrangements with vendors.
Oversee item code creation and procurement data updates in NAV.
Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including approvals, vendor coordination, and goods receipting.
Support procurement for new outlet setups, including renovation and asset purchasing.
Conduct vendor sourcing and price comparisons for CAPEX and non-stock items.
Coordinate asset registration, maintenance, repairs, and contract management.
Track CAPEX usage vs. budget and provide management reports.
Supervise and guide procurement team members.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as required and travel to sites when necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to the healthcare industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficient in procurement systems/ERP (e.g., NAV) and Microsoft Office.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines.
