Job summary
A global professional services company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Junior Developer to enhance the Silverlake Core Banking System. The role involves development on AS400 environments using RPG and supporting deployment automation through ALDON. Ideal candidates will have experience in AS400 environments, a good grasp of core banking functions, and the ability to collaborate effectively on system implementations. Qualifications

Developer – Silverlake BWC, Core Banking, Bankwide CIF (BWC – Customer File), Junior (L2 – 3 to 5 years), Kuala Lumpur
We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Junior Developer to support development and enhancement of the Silverlake Core Banking System, specifically the Bankwide Customer File (BWC) module. The role involves working on AS400 environments using RPG, contributing to system changes, and supporting deployment automation using ALDON in a DevOps‑oriented delivery model.
- Develop and maintain programs related to the BWC (Customer File) module of Silverlake Core Banking.
- Work on bug fixes, enhancements, and minor change requests under supervision of senior developers.
- Write and test code in RPG on AS400 platforms.
- Support and perform software deployment using ALDON.
- Collaborate with analysts and QA teams to validate business requirements and ensure functional delivery.
- Participate in DevOps pipelines and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot basic issues and provide support during testing and implementation.
- Follow coding standards, version control practices, and documentation procedures.
- 3‑5 years of experience in application development within AS400 environments.
- Proficient in RPG programming.
- Good understanding of AS400/DB2 systems.
- Experience or working knowledge of Silverlake Core Banking platform.
- Experience with BWC (Customer File / CIF).
- Experience with ALDON for software deployment automation.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and workflows.
