Job summary

A healthcare facility in Malaysia is seeking a Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant to help carry out rehabilitative treatments under therapist supervision. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and have at least one year of experience in a hospital setting. Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year of experience in Hospital setting as a Rehab Technician.

Job description

Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant

Carry out restorative and rehabilitative treatments under direct supervision of therapist to improve the functional ability of the patients. Monitor the patients’ progress and notify therapist of any changes in the patients’ conditions. Accompany and motivate patients to achieve and complete planned treatment. Set up the equipment and calibrate (if required) before the treatment sessions begin. Maintain treatment areas in a clean and orderly manner. Ensure reports and treatment items are dispatched to the wards.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy.
