Responsibilities
- Ensures all guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately adhering to the hotel’s general guidelines for service recovery.
- Ensures all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
- Conducts daily shift briefings.
- Ensures that all team members under your supervision are well trained and productively assigned daily job tasks.
- Ensures all team members are provided with consistent on-the-job training and other relevant trainings.
- Follows up on work and maintains logbook.
- Knows and strictly follows all established cleaning procedures.
- Prepares Room/Public Area crew work assignment sheet.
- Reports monthly chemical consumption.
- Monthly Guest Supplies and Amenities usage.
- Knows how to operate/use available Housekeeping machinery’s and chemicals according to established standards.
- Ensures all Front of House and Back of House areas are well maintained, clean and tidy at all times.
- Conducts quality room/public area inspections.
- Maintains proper par stock of inventory items.
- Reports all maintenance deficiencies immediately.
- Assists in other sections of the Housekeeping department as and when required based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma in hospitality or equivalent.
- Practical experience as a departmental trainer in housekeeping.
- Must be proficient with reservations handling and process and familiar with Opera/Micros system.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
