Job summary

A multinational foil manufacturing company located in Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Logistics Coordinator. This role involves managing customer inquiries, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment. Ideal candidates will possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree along with two years of experience preferably in the manufacturing sector. Strong skills in Microsoft AX and organizational abilities are essential for success in this position. Proficiency in English and Malay is required.

Job description

Reports directly to the Sales & Logistics Manager.

Responsible for all Aluminium foil customers based in : Worldwide.

Attending to all customer enquiries and liaise with customers for new orders placement.

Organizing inter-department meetings to communicate on new customers and/or new product requirements.

Requesting new material codes and load in sales orders via Microsoft AX.

Updating LME info to customers.

Co-ordinate with Planning Dept. for complete customer orders.

Updating customers on their orders and delivery status.

Follow up with customers on overdue payments.

Resolving customers’ needs and/or requests.

Handling Customer Complaints etc and follow up.

Conduct customer’s satisfaction survey and prepare analysis report.

Able to travel locally or overseas for customers visits.

Logistics functions:

Checking ready materials against customers’ orders & generate warehouse report.

Liaise with shipping agents for vessel bookings.

Co-ordinate with transport companies for truck or container bookings.

Issue Packing list to Warehouse.

Issue Invoice, Shipping Instruction, Insurance Cert & Generate Mill Cert.

Review / check / issue shipping documents (BL, L/C, CO, K2, K1).

Arrange return of goods and/or packaging (re-importation).

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

At least 2 years and above of working experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.

Proficient with Microsoft AX System, Microsoft Office or related software.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Proficiency in English & Malay language, written & spoken.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
