Position: Speech Therapist & Special Needs Caregiver/Teaching Aid
Location: Taman Dagang, Ampang
Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Speech Therapist and Special Needs Caregiver/Teaching Aid. This role involves working closely with children with special needs (primarily autism) to support their development through speech therapy, classroom activities, and individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily speech therapy sessions tailored to each child’s needs.
• Assist the Program Head in implementing and supervising daily educational and developmental activities.
• Engage in teaching, coaching, and one-on-one support for children.
• Prepare reports, assessments, and progress updates in collaboration with the Program Head.
• Supervise classroom activities and ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Requirements

• Experience or training in speech therapy and working with children with special needs (autism experience preferred).
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children’s growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow structured programs.
• Professional appearance: well-dressed, presentable, and no visible markings/tattoos.
• Open primarily to female applicants, but qualified male applicants are also encouraged to apply.
• Foreign applicants are welcome but must possess a valid working visa (we do not provide visa sponsorship).

Contract Details

• 6-month probation period, followed by a yearly renewable contract upon confirmation.
• Starting salary: RM 2000.
