A leading fashion media company in Selangor is seeking a Video Editor & Producer who is passionate about fashion and streetwear content. This role involves shooting and editing high-quality videos for social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, planning content strategies, and collaborating with creators. Ideal candidates should have 1-2 years of experience, proficiency in video editing software, and be fluent in Chinese. Jobscope:
Shooting & editing high quality video content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok including street style visuals, product shots, behind-the-scenes and lifestyle segments
Planning the content strategy and social media calendar ensuring a mix of long-form, Reels, and TikTok videos aligned with fashion and streetwear trends
Collaborating with the creator to brainstorm story ideas, develop campaign angles and prepare storyboards / shot lists
Handling all pre-production logistics including scheduling, scouting locations, props, equipment and coordination with partners or freelancers
Leading and operating filming sessions, capturing high-quality visuals (A-roll, B-roll, street-style, product shots) aligned with the brand’s aesthetics
Editing both long-form and short-form content, including colour grading, sound design, subtitles (Chinese/English) and motion graphics
Maintaining media file organisation, backups and version control for all production assets
Producing brand/sponsored content, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations while creating the creator’s authentic tone
Tracking and applying insights from industry trends, fashion culture shifts and algorithm changes to improve content performance
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in video editing or production; fresh graduates with established portfolios are encouraged to apply
Able to speak, read and write Chinese (required for subtitles, communication and scriptwork)
Passion for fashion, streetwear, sneaker culture and lifestyle content
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
Confident in operating camera, lighting and audio equipment
Organised, proactive and able to handle fast-moving content-driven projects
