Managing Director Polymer Industry

• Define and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy in alignment with board directives.
• Identify growth opportunities in bio-plastic markets across ASEAN.
• Expand the company’s footprint by driving initiatives in sustainable product development and market penetration.

• Forge strategic partnerships with government bodies, international organizations, and industry leaders to promote bio-plastic solutions.
• Act as the face of the organization at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, showcasing innovative products and sustainable practices.
• Develop and implement strategies to secure funding and investment for growth initiatives, including green and sustainable projects.

• Oversee all aspects of operations, including manufacturing, P&L management, and resource allocation, to achieve financial and production targets.
• Drive the implementation of quality standards, certifications (e.g., Halal-certified products), and regulatory compliance.
• Champion innovative technologies, such as bio-plastic resins and low‑carbon footprint products, to remain competitive in the market.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of professionals across sales, marketing, operations, and R&D.
• Build a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability to align with the company’s sustainable growth objectives.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure teams are equipped to excel in a competitive industry.

• Advocate for sustainable materials and processes, emphasizing the benefits of bio‑plastics over traditional fossil‑fuel‑based plastics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to advance environmental goals, including reducing carbon footprints and promoting circular economy principles.

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the plastics or bio‑plastics industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in business development, achieving market expansion, and building strategic alliances.
• Strong understanding of bio‑plastics production, sustainability trends, and global market dynamics.
• Expertise in P&L management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
